This July I would have been very grateful to have a cold day - as the mercury has soared across the country. It also feels like everyone everywhere is on vacation, so thank you for reading this newsletter when you probably want to be somewhere outside sipping on something cold. My favorite place in Colorado to cool off is at the top of a high mountain (see photo below).
This month I'm talking about AI, leadership, and customer journeys - all of which I believe are a natural fit together. According to Chat GPT, these are all essential aspects of modern business strategy and customer-centric practices. So there.

AI - marketing tool or game-changer?
Yes, I’m going to weigh in on the topic of the moment – AI. Here are 5 ways that I think it will change the game in marketing.
My client Insight Coaching & Consulting is using blogs to communicate with leaders who want to do things differently. From conscious leadership, to strategic planning, the leadership's skills matter.
We are super excited to share that our client's new website has gone live. Merriman Wealth Management is a Seattle-based financial management firm that wants to be and look different to the competition. We worked hard to give them a website that authentically reflected the range of people who work there.
A customer doesn’t just mindlessly purchase a product or service. They go through an entire journey, from discovering your brand, to purchasing your product or service, to sometimes recommending it to someone else. To make sense of your customer’s journey, you’ll need to leverage customer journey analytics.
July is one of my favorite months to get up into the high mountains. The air is (generally) clear, and the landscape is like nowhere else. And in July, the wildflowers are out in force. With all the rain we had in May and early June and the snow, it's been a very late start to wildflower season.
It means that rivers are high and snow is still hanging on below treeline - leading to situations like this. What was also spectacular was that under the overhang of the snow, flowers were blooming. To me, that's an inspirational story of survival, despite the odds. And what has that got to do with me? Well it's one of things that inspires me.
