Welcome from the Respect Life Committee! Please mark your calendars on two (2) upcoming events to support life: 1) The Mosaic Baby Bottle Campaign, on the weekend of September 23/24 after each Mass (at St Theresa's) to help Mosaic which offers free medical & other pregnancy-related services in Lansdowne, VA; and, 2) the Knights of Columbus Pancake Breakfast on October 8th will benefit the Parish's Respect Life initiatives. One issue we need your support on is a proposed regulation out of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission that would require employers to accommodate employees who choose to get abortions, such as by giving them leave to obtain one. Please take a couple of minutes to read more below and click the button to the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) Action Center to make your voice(s) heard! -Respect Life Committee |

| | Tell the EEOC to leave abortion out of the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act! The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has issued a proposed regulation that would require employers to accommodate employees who choose to get abortions, such as by giving them leave to obtain one. The proposal misinterprets the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act, which is a new law meant to help working mothers keep their job, if they wish, while protecting their health and that of their preborn children. The EEOC is now twisting that law to promote abortion instead, the exact opposite of pregnancy. | | |
