As another year has closed, I look back at all the hurdles and complications over the past two years and I am optimistic of my community and my organization to withstand adversities. Beyond providing assistance to abused individuals and families, Family Advocates has adjusted and expanded our services to meet community needs. We are in a unique position to help, being one of the only agencies with 24 hour staffing. Family Advocates is the after-hours on call for Neighborhood Health Partners as well as a 24 hour food box source for nourishment needs in our communities. Starting in 2022, we will be the after-hours resource for homeless individuals through our partnerships with the Salvation Army and Southwest Wisconsin Community Action Program (SWCAP).
As always, we continue to offer all of our services free and confidential. Without the advocacy, volunteering and contributions from you and our community, Family Advocates would not be able to provide the high level of care that individuals and families need and deserve. | | |
