Barn Talk

Welcome to the new year!

Just when we thought life was getting back to normal we hit it off with a flurry of COVID cases and things get thrown into chaos once again.

As you know I was to be at the Heavy Horse Festival this weekend and proudly was sponsoring a dressage class only to have it postponed due to the COVID issues. I can certainly see why and understand and the good news it is postponed, not canceled yet!

Fingers have been crossed for Farm World which will be on at the end of March in Warragul. This is a fantastic day and the horse section has become bigger and better with an addition of other horse disciplines such as barrel racing and western.  Stay tuned for more news and there will be a code word that will be sent out for a discount on the products at bookings which I can take on the day.

As some of you will remember, my boy Geronimo had a nasty injury. I am happy to say that the wounds have now healed, his walking is getting better and I have even seen him doing some trotting which is making me very excited.  A lot of injuries take time as well as effort and his injury will take a good 12 - 18 months to be fully healed. The same goes for some of the treatments I do on your horses, it won’t be fixed in one treatment. It is like us going to physiotherapy you normally don’t go once and that is it. Like physios I am happy to give you exercises and hints on your horse and what I have found.

Well don’t forget to check out the website and facebook pages and keep loving those horses.

Keep safe till next Barn Talk

Equi-Soothe Ice Gel NEW PRODUCT COMING

My gorgeous friend and colleague Mickie Magan has a wonderful new product that I am so honored to stock. Equi-Soothe Ice Gel has been developed due to the need Mickie saw for both her and horses. It is once again all natural for sore or tired muscles and those which are suffering inflammation. It is soothing and cooling. It contains essential oils which promote blood flow and can be used on both horse and rider!

So Stay Tuned!

MOXA

T

Funny name but a great addition to the Chinese medicine that I do.  It looks like a big cigar which is made of grounded mugwort leaves and is used on acupuncture points and meridians. It can be used on its own or in conjunction with acupuncture needles. Promoting heat and stimulation of blood flow bringing the Qi (energy) back into balance
