In commemoration of the twentieth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks in New York, Valiant Scribe will publish a poem by Lyonel Laverde titled “To the Icons of the Hour.”

The poem is a connected series of twenty-two strophes of around ten lines per strophe that attempt to document that day’s events, but more relevantly try to capture some of the specific emotions and circumstances of that time.

Visit our website on Saturday, September 11th at 10 AM EST for the featured post.
