When facing Darkness
No matter how hard we try to do good and be good, Life will always offer us challenges ... in a way it is a ‘test’ to see if we’ve truly ‘become of the Light’, or if we’re simply playing with the idea.
Accept that at the moment Life on Planet Earth is facing a major crossroad, and how we deal with it will determine the future, not only for our human race, but for all living things ... and if you think that global warming simply means more sunshine and better tans, you should take a look at this great little documentary “Lethal Seas” which examines how the oceans are absorbing more CO2 which is destroying coral reefs, and the impact this has on ALL marine life ... all ...
So, in a few years, we’ll have no shrimps, no oysters, no krill, no fish, no dolphins, no whales unless we wake up now
[sorry, didn’t mean to get off the subject. I just get so irritated by ignorance, narrow-minded propaganda, and - worse of all - selfish greed ... but that’s what Karma is for ...
But I digress ...]
We are faced with a virus that has no boundaries, has no respect for elitist status / religious righteousness / first or third world superiority / culture and skin color ... it truly is ‘the great equalizer’ and our personal wake-up call. If ever there was something that would - without any doubt - point out that we are all one, that there is nothing which can make one group believe that they are better / greater / more entitled than others ... or that some are more immune than others ... well, this virus is it.
While, at the moment, many young people believe that they are ‘immune’, or at least will have very mild symptoms, we have to realize that viruses do mutate, and what may well be true today may not be that of the future...
Whether we like it or not we are ALL in this together, and must stop pointing a finger at others, casting blame where there is no purpose.
If this virus is teaching us anything is that we must put our [ever so superficial] differences aside, and help each other survive with honor and decency...
Strange words, yes indeed ...
