Another busy few weeks since the last newsletter has seen many athletes from the club competing on the road, in cross-country and sportshall events. If you get the chance, try and watch some of the World Para Athletics Championships that are on at the moment and catch some more of our athletes competing for GB. Last month we held the yearly AGM and would once again like to place on record our thanks for all the time that our coaches, team managers, clubhouse volunteers and parents give the club to help make things happen. If you want to get involved let us know; there are many things that you could help with, both big and small. Please also let us know if there is something that can be improved - but please bring solutions, not just the problem!! This newsletter is a bumper edition! Keep reading all the way down for all news and information (London Marathon places, training times and more....), and if you have any news or photos, or want to contribute an article, then please email contact@charnwoodac.co.uk. |

Membership Card Checks If you've been at training over the last few weeks you will have noticed that we are operating membership card checks on both the HIPAC and Clubhouse entrances. We do this periodically to maintain the integrity of our training sessions, and ensure the club can continue to hire the excellent facilities at Loughborough University. If you do not have your membership card then there are still a number of them waiting to be collected from the clubhouse. If you have any membership queries then please contact the club, or the membership secretary: membership@charnwoodac.co.uk. |

HIPAC Training times Every year Charnwood AC is lucky to be able to hire the HIPAC during the winter months to be used by our training groups. We do not hire the whole HIPAC, so in order to maintain good relations with the University please observe the training times and areas we have hired. We will do our best to ensure that others also respect the facilities we have hired so that we have the room we have paid for! Details of times and areas can be found here. |
