Event notice

• Please join us for our next Estonian Centre project Community Engagement Session at the Estonian House (958 Broadview) Grand Hall on WEDNESDAY MARCH 27 at 7:00 pm. Alar Kongats, architect for the Estonian Centre project, will be on hand to present the latest design updates, and other key project representatives will present information on the progress of the project, and will answer your questions. Coffee will be served. Hope to see you on Wednesday March 27, 2019.

Legal and Governance 

• At a recent information and engagement sessions with our community, the governance and legal structure for the International Estonian Centre was presented. Read more here.

Updates

• The results are in! Communications survey will help guide community outreach. The Estonian Centre Project Communications Committee conducted a survey recently to gather opinions from the community about communication preferences. Read more here.

• IEC Hosts Project Update Event in Hamilton. Representatives from the International Estonian Centre (IEC) project team took to the road on Jan. 24 to present a project update to the Estonian community in Hamilton. Read more here.

• Colouring Contest Winners! The International Estonian Centre (IEC) invited the community to the grand opening of its Welcome Centre at the Estonian House at December’s Rahvajõulupuu, and to put their creative talents to work in a colouring contest! Read more here.

• Community Engagements Sessions were held on a Saturday morning for Estonian kindergarten parents (read more here), and on a Thursday morning for seniors (read more here).
