School Transport

Today, Friday 26th April, is the deadline for applications for the school bus for the 2024-25 school year. The school transport portal is now open on www.buseireann.ie. The school inspector has agreed to change our bus route next year. The new bus route will be extended along the Enniskeane to Bandon road. If you do not live on a bus route, you may be eligible for a remote rural area transport grant. You are only eligible for the grant if you have applied for school transport and been refused. To qualify for the grant, you must live 3.2km from the school. When an application is made, your application will either say eligible, concessionary or not eligible. If it says concessionary, it means that you can get a ticket if there is space on the bus. If it says not eligible, you may qualify for the grant.
