| | Home Offices: The Covid pandemic created lots of changes. Many businesses continued to run with employees working from home offices. Many employees left the workforce to start their own businesses. Either way, the demand for home offices grew. This trend is likely to continue, with many home renovations to include creating home offices. Blue Leaf Design Build can help you create an office that is both beautiful and functional. If you need a new home office, let us know! | | |
| | Modern Rustic Style: When remodeling your home, stick with designs and styles that are timeless. A basic modern style will always look good, no matter what decade you are in. Here in Colorado, and particularly in our mountain communities, Mountain Modern or a Modern Rustic style will always look good. Consider using materials that are more organic and natural, such as solid wood, quartzite and other natural stone countertops, and natural stone tile. Use finishes with clean lines rather than lots of elaborate details. Blue Leaf Design Build is working on a project with the Mountain Modern style and we can't wait to share photos with you! If you would like to talk with us about your home renovation, email us today! | | |

Did You Know? Start your kitchen renovation in the spring |
You want to renovate your kitchen but wonder how you will survive without one for several weeks to months. You could find alternative housing arrangements, but if you want to stay put, plan to begin your renovation in the spring (In the foothills and mountains this may be a month or so later than in Denver). This is because you can take advantage of the warmer weather and use your grill to cook outside. And while it may not be ideal, you can use an extra bathroom to wash your dishes. Remember, if you are having any structural changes done in your kitchen renovation, you may need an architect and/or engineer, so you will need to begin the planning process several months before your anticipated start date. Permits can take extra time too, so be sure to account for this when planning your renovation. ** We work with excellent architects and engineers and are happy to refer you to them if needed |

| | Voyage Denver Article: Voyage Denver's mission is to build a platform that fosters collaboration and support for small businesses, independent artists and entrepreneurs, local institutions and those that make our city interesting. We want to change the way people spend their money – rather than spending it with the big, cookie-cutter corporations we want them to spend their money with the independent, creative, local entrepreneurs, small businesses and artists. And finally, we want the stories we share to help give our big city a little bit of that small town community charm, where people know each other and their stories at a deeper, more personal level. | | |

| | Conifer Radio Podcast Interview Conifer Radio became the live-streaming internet public community radio voice for the the US Highway 285 Corridor in January 2000. Conifer Radio serves our US 285 corridor communities of Conifer, Aspen Park, Pine, Bailey and our numerous other surrounding mountain neighborhood communities extending along and branching from the US 285 corridors from Morrison through Kenosha Pass, Colorado. As a public community radio station, Conifer Radio operates "advertising-free" through internet “live-streaming” technology. As a non-commercial station, we have no commercials and don't 'advertise' - we 'recognize' our community organizations, businesses and local folks. | | |

| | Conifer Area Chamber of Commerce Awards Each year, the Conifer Area Chamber of Commerce recognizes local businesses at their annual awards ceremony. This year, our own Jacqui Angelo was nominated as Ambassador of the Year! Ambassadors are a voluntary position at chamber of commerce and play an essential role in member communication and retention. Each Ambassador is charged with conveying member needs, questions and concerns to Chamber staff. Generally speaking, an ambassador would be expected to encourage member involvement. Different chambers have different guidelines and varying levels of expectations for their ambassadors. Cast your vote for Jacqui now! | | |
