SHey there, Greetings! Hope you are all staying cool. This summer has been record hot everywhere. Thank goodness for air conditioning. We are so blessed that we have a mini-split, which is so efficient. Our solar system has no issues keeping up.
The key word in today's newsletter is CRAFTSMANSHIP. Having spent most of the month here at one of our builders, we can tell you that the level of craftsmanship, care, and problem solving of this team is amazing. It has also made us reflect on the RV industry as a whole and how a Travel Home, built to high performance home building standards is just a unique offering in this marketplace. It was one of the reasons we ventured into designing and building our own Travel Home, almost 5 years ago.
I (Robert) was interviewed on a podcast today and one of the questions they asked was - who is the ideal Custom Travel Home customer? It certainly was a fair question. We had initially believed it would only be the early "empty nester" but the reality is that with what Covid did to people's perspectives on what is important in life, and the number of jobs now offering remote access, we are convinced that our potential customer base ranges from the active, outdoor enthusiast to the "snowbird" who wants the comforts of home without compromises and has a discerning taste for quality and distinction. The fact is Travel Homes is a new RV category. We are hopeful that the quality and premium offerings we put into our Travel Homes will differentiate us and will have an appeal for families that want something unique that they can enjoy for a lifetime. These units are made with all premium materials and quality craftsmanship. Each one is built with the same care and skill that we would like in our own home. Our stamp of approval goes on each Travel Home before it leaves the lot.
The Custom Travel Home inaugural event will be at the Tampa RV Show this coming January. We hope to see many of you there.
