Josh White, PT, DHSc, ATC, MTC

Josh holds a Doctorate Degree in Health Science and a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, as well as Athletic Training Certification and Manual Therapy Certification. He has more than 20 years of experience working in orthopedics as a physical therapist treating patients for extremity and spinal dysfunctions. Special interests include treating complex spine and athletic-related injuries with an emphasis on manual therapy and trigger point needling techniques. Josh serves as Clinical Assistant Professor at Hanover College in the DPT program.

Josh and his wife Mary enjoy spending time with their four children who also enjoy sports and outdoor adventure. Josh stays active with mountain biking, hunting and telemark skiing.

Mary has a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy, Athletic Training Certification, Manual Therapy Certification and Pilates Instructor Certification. Her experience includes working in the outpatient physical therapy setting for over 20 years and teaching at the university level on the foot and ankle. Special interests are Pilates-based rehabilitation, foot and ankle bio-mechanics and customized orthotic fitting. Mary teaches as Adjunct Faculty at Hanover College in the DPT program.

Mary and her husband have four children who all enjoy the active lifestyle Colorado offers. You’ll find Mary trail running, hiking and cross-country skiing.

Tom was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI and relocated to Evergreen with his wife and son in early 2018. Tom's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology (2012) and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (2014) from Marquette University. Since graduating, Tom has earned a certification in Trigger Point Dry Needling and has completed the first two levels of spinal manipulation training through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy (AAMT). Tom feels these are great adjuncts to accelerate and improve his patients' outcomes and is always striving to expand and refine his skills to provide the highest quality of care. 

 

Tom and his family spend most of their time outside biking, hiking and running.

Caroline's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science (2014), a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (2016), and a Residency in Orthopedic PT (2019). She's particularly interested in athletic-related injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and TMJ pain/dysfunction. 

​

Born and raised in Wisconsin, Caroline was drawn to the beautiful Colorado mountains and active outdoor lifestyle. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, running, swimming, backpacking, rock climbing and playing various musical instruments.

Sarina was born and raised in Nederland, Colorado and has continued to live in the mountains of Colorado since. 

 

Sarina's educational background includes a Bachelor in Health and Exercise Science with a Sports Medicine Concentration (2018) from Colorado State University where she also played ice hockey, and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (2022) from University of Colorado. Since graduating, Sarina has furthered her studies in Adolescent Sports Medicine with Colorado Children's Hospital, completed training in Blood Flow Restriction, Functional Dry Needling, advanced spinal manual techniques, and practiced in a high level sports medicine clinic prior to joining the Vertical Motion team. She also has a background in coaching freestyle skiing and ice hockey up to the collegiate level. With this, Sarina particularly loves working with mountain community members and athletes of all ages. 

 

In her free time, Sarina can be found skiing, mountain biking, playing ice hockey, and generally enjoying the outdoors with her partner and their two dogs, Luna and Kanga.

Tonje Williams

Tonje Williams comes to our front desk staff with an array of experience surrounding her love of working with others. She enjoys meeting new people and getting to know our clients. With a degree in Special Education from UC Denver, she worked for Denver Public Schools teaching students with autism. Tonje carries her love of teaching to all aspects of life. She has taught cross country skiing, snowboarding, and most recently, mountain biking for the Evergreen Rec Center. She also works with Mountain Youth Musicals and Ovation West Performing Arts, connecting the community to theatre arts.

Tonje moved to Denver from Washington state in 1996, meeting her husband Steve here in Colorado. In 2003, they moved up to Evergreen. When she isn't working, Tonje is outside mountain biking, snowboarding, or hiking with her family.

Amanda has a deep love for the Fine Arts, nature and people. Her passion for the arts led her to pursue a degree in Fine Art at Virginia Tech, where she focused on painting and pottery and minored in Art History and Psychology. After graduating she embarked on a new adventure and moved to Colorado in 2007. She has spent the past 10 years being a proud stay at home mom to her 3 amazing daughters. Being a mom has been the greatest joy of her life and Amanda works hard to instill her love of the outdoors and arts with her girls. Amanda enjoys meeting new people and making meaningful connections, taking time to hear other people’s experiences and perspectives.

 

In her free time Amanda enjoys mountain biking, hiking and camping. She loves the outdoors and exploring all this beautiful state has to offer.

A Colorado native, Grace is a Certified Nursing Assistant who has always been interested in the medical field. For the past few years, she has worked in office settings and become more focused on the administrative side of medicine. In her front desk role at Vertical Motion, she enjoys helping and meeting new patients.

​

Grace spends much of her free time with friends and family including her two boys. She enjoys all that Colorado has to offer, such as exploring the outdoors, hiking, boating, camping, seeing the diverse wildlife and discovering the newest ‘famous’ Colorado Green Chili.

Ingrid is part of the front desk admin group and enjoys working with the wonderful VM team and the Evergreen community. She is also a freelance editor, a small business owner (Pet Popcorn!), and the author of a young adult novel, All Out of Pretty. She holds degrees in English and Journalism.


Forever in awe of the Rocky Mountains, Ingrid enjoys hiking, tennis, painting, stand-up paddle boarding, and gardening in the Colorado sunshine. Originally from Ohio, she has lived in Evergreen since 2011 with her husband, two sons, a small dog and a tall cat.
