Hi Everyone,

I wanted to wish you a Happy Canada Day in a new update, but day and night I was busy preparing, packing and exhibiting my work. It was a new experience for me to be at an outdoor art fair, where I worked on my painting of Venice and learned a lot of practical tips from other artists about outdoor shows. I had engaging conversations with some visiting art lovers and artists, and with kids who were interested in my process.

The views of Italy, the Eiffel Tower and “Climbing a Rock Face” caught the most attention, and visitors also appreciated the variety of styles and media I use.

It was good to bid farewell to a couple originals. Then I completed the Venice painting on the 2nd and framed it the following day. And here it is:

Altogether it was a strenuous and tiring experience, though my mom and I got to spend three days in the fresh air on beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake.
