We were able to support a Black woman owned business that addresses workforce development concerns by 1) providing transportation for staff 2) providing a staff employee assistance fund for those in emergency situations, 3) providing a higher pay wage for staff, and 4) by creating a custom schedule for staff so that they are working closest to their home, which reduces extended travel times.
