Rhizome Learning, Singapore is delighted to share the Work From Home survey report conducted amongst team leaders across India & Singapore. The survey was qualitative and most of them had industry experience of 20 years or more.
By now, you have gone through several reports on how the future of work will pan out and would be having some of your own views on how it will look for you and others.
We hope that this report can help build your perspective further and bring out nuances of this unprecedented phenomenon.
A couple of things stand out about this report.
Firstly, it is a collective reflection of team leaders, mostly over 15 years in the industry. The responses do not reflect the agonies of new joinees, who have really suffered from a sense of isolation during this COVID work from home phase.
Secondly, there is an overwhelming sense of helplessness in not being able to meet a larger crowd of the professional peer group, juniors, and seniors who even though seemingly on the periphery, bring in their own unique energy into the work life joy. We investigate a bit more into why this sense of longing.
Thirdly, executives have welcomed the rest and flexibility gained in this period. It has helped them connect deeper within.
Lastly, from the learning stories, it is clear that team leaders have had their own journeys in creating trust and accountability in their teams. Therein lies the power of human resilience and intent, which is essential to coping with all situations.
