Teach the Future is proud to announce the winners in the inaugural SOIF Next Generation Foresight Practitioners – Young Voices Award competition. Curious, innovative, and empathetic youngsters between 12-17-years old were invited to apply by submitting a short video and essay about their community-based projects, based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The winner of the 2021 NGFP-Young Voices award is Alice from Brazil and she wins the $1,000 prize. She is passionate about education, music, theatre, and debate and actively participates in innovative educational projects and activism. |

UN SDG:Learn is a United Nations initiative that aims to bring relevant and curated learning solutions on sustainable development topics to individuals and organisations. THE NETHERLANDS Our hub co-organised 'Kinder Trendredes' in 4 Dutch cities. Kids first get workshops at school to explore the future of their city. At an event they present their visions to their cities' mayor or alderman, who commit themselves to listen to and act on the advice of this young generation. | | |

BRASIL Teach the Future Brasil has started a monthly webinar series to promote futures in education: there will be 2 guests in each edition talking about future related subjects like: vulnerability, uncertainty, a culture of peace, climate-change activism, education technologies, immersive techniques in classrooms, etc. Check out the first webinar in the video below.
