Done With the Snow!

Hello

What a surprise February was, with a foot of snow at my house!  I decided that a couple of snow paintings would be appropriate.

The first painting was done from a photo I took in the 80’s. I was with a group of friends skiing in the Leavenworth, WA area.  One of our group had a snow-mobile and we would ride to the top of the hill and ski down. It was a lot of fun, so here is my rendition of that, complete with the 80’s style ski jacket on the subject.

As I was looking out the window on one of the snowy mornings, I saw this plump little Varied Thrush, and took several photos of it to use for my painting.

I’m now done with winter and snow, so “hurry up spring, we are all ready.”

I changed out my paintings at “The Real Deahl Gift Store” in St. Helens, OR.  If you are in the area, stop by and see all of the wonderful creations made by local artists. You can also go to their website: www.therealdeahlgiftstore.com

Goodbye for now,
