Outdoor Worship Service Options
Currently there are three options to experience our Outdoor Worship Service:
- Gather on the lawn. Outdoor Worship will take place in the area above, please bring your own chair, mask, and water.
- FM radio. For those who wish to remain in their vehicle, the service can be heard through an FM radio. Each week, at the service, you'll be notified of the station to tune your radio.
- Live-stream. If you wish to participate in our Sunday worship services via live-stream click here for our YouTube page. Anyone interested in being involved in this mission, by helping with the live-stream, is encouraged to notify the church office of your interest.
The Task Force is actively making plans and procedures for when we can safely gather again in our Sanctuary, once health authorities deem it safe for 50 or more persons to gather. Click here for the Plan for Gathering for Worship

All non-worship activities of the church have been cancelled or postponed. At this time the group meetings, Youth Group, bazaar, or committee meetings are postponed. The Prayer Group has resumed meeting, this is possible because they are a group of less than 10 individuals. The October Fish Fry has been cancelled.
The Upper Room
The Upper Room also has a list of resources such as Morning Prayers on Facebook Live, The Upper Room Prayer Wall, and many more resources available at this link.
Tithes and Gifts
We thank each and every one of you for your continued support during this temporary building closure. Our ministry does continue during this time. Many folks have asked how they can continue their monetary support to the church. This can be accomplished by mailing a check directly to the church or even setting up online bill pay.

Mission News
The 2020 Saginaw County CROP Hunger Walk is going Virtual!
What this means is that we will attempt to raise funds as usual (or as close to "usual" as possible) throughout the remainder of September and early October. But when Walk Day arrives on Sunday, October 11th, we will not gather together at the YMCA for a community-wide event as we normally would. Instead, we encourage participating walkers to walk only within their own families and only in areas of their own choosing, and then to share pictures and video of their walk on the Saginaw CROP Walk Facebook page. Once again this year, if three or more of our church's youth (18 and under) participate and can raise $250 together, an anonymous donor will add $125 to their total. Proceeds benefit the international hunger-fighting work of Church World Service, and 25% of what we raise stays in Saginaw to benefit the East Side Soup Kitchen, Hidden Harvest, Samaritas Community Center and the Saginaw Rescue Mission. Walkers interested in joining this worthwhile mission should contact Doug Byron at (989) 798-3305. And those wishing to support them can simply send a donation to the office or add one to their offering marked "CROP Walk" and the name of the walker they wish to donate to, or visit www.CROPhungerwalk.org/saginawmi to donate to our church's team and the walkers who have registered. A listing of walkers will be included in future congregational updates. Please join us, because together, even in the midst of a pandemic, we can still do something to "End Hunger, One Step at a Time".
A huge thank you to all who donated schools supplies or gift cards for our August mission project!
