During the month of May Village of Belgium office staff will be working in the office, however Village Hall will remain closed for counter services. We will be available over the phone during regular office hours.

May Events

Governor Evers has extended the shelter at home order through May 26th, 2020. We encourage all those who can stay home to do so. Village meetings during the month of May will be held online using Zoom unless the shelter at home orders are lifted. Meetings can also be attended by telephone. Information on attending a meeting will be posted on our website.

Reminder: Curbside Branch Pickup

Curbside branch pickup will be provided on Mondays from May through Mid-November. This service is for regular yard waste and windfall branches NOT to dispose of trees that have been cut down. If you have a tree cut down you must arrange for disposal of the branches.

 

Village staff will not chip or remove branches left at the curb that are from trees that have been cut down.

Electronic Recycling

The Village and Town of Belgium are once again teaming up to provide free electronic recycling for our residents.

 

When: May 16, 2020 - 9 am to Noon

Where: Town of Belgium Dump

1215 Jay Road, Belgium

 

Please follow all Social Distancing rules and remain in your vehicle unless instructed otherwise.

Due to Covid - 19 the Belgium Legion Auxilary will not be able to hold their annual poppy sale honor of Memorial day.  However, the Legion Auxilary will be selling poppies in November in honor of Veterans Day.  Wear a poppy on May 24th to support National Poppy Day and our fallen soldiers.
