Olá from Portual! We are finally here after months of sharing with you about this next step. It's been almost a year since we officially committed to the Angola team, and we're so excited to tackle the challenge that lies ahead of us. |

In case we didn't get to chat with you while we we're in America, we are in Portugal for language school! Angola's official language is Portuguese, so we'll spend somewhere around six to nine months dedicating the majority of our time to learning, studying, and practicing it. When we're done, we'll stop by America to apply for our Angolan visas, then we'll be off to Africa! Our hope is that this will be by the end of 2020. |

Our time in the states was so good. We got to meet up with so many of our supporters, speak at churches about Zambia, spend the holidays with our families, and share with everyone about upcoming plans for Angola! If you're friends with any of our parents on Facebook, you saw that we got to spend our last weekend in Pennsylvania with all of them! It was such an awesome time to be all together. We're so thankful for our families who love and support us so well. |

You may have noticed, we use the word "team" a lot. When we talk about Overland, or Angola, or Zambia, or the Sustain department, or the people who keep us on the field, we usually call the people we work with our team. That might be a little confusing at times! But the fact is, we are privileged to work on amazing teams within bigger, also amazing teams (amazing team-ception). We don't always have time when we're one on one with you to share about what everyone in the greater Overland Missions team is doing, but it is definitely worth knowing about! That's why we're excited to share with you Overland's 2019 End of Year Report. Generally we're not the kind of people that get super excited about reports, but we're so proud to be part of this team, and this report is a glimpse into all that God has done through our team in the past year. We hope you'll check it out by clicking the link below! |

Before we can head to Angola we have to learn Portuguese, get our Angolan visas, and also purchase a vehicle! We are 60% of the way to our funding goal! Thank you so much to those of you who have given so generously to our vehicle fund. We still have about $25,000 to raise before we can purchase our truck. If you'd like to give toward this specific need, please reply to this email so we can let you know how! |
