Final Newsletter of 2023 Of course, the last newsletter would fall on the first day of Mercury Retrograde. And of course that would make editing this 10 times slower and more difficult... On the plus side, yesterday was the New Moon in Sagittarius, and as a Sag Sun, I'm hoping that will throw some good astrological juju my way. Actually, all of our ways! I want to start by quickly thanking those who signed up for and attended our first Community Dream Tending meet-up last Friday. I was grateful to be able to be able to hear some of the dreams that others have been experiencing over the last few months. It was my first time holding a container like that for Dreams, where it's more than a one-on-one, and I think I'll be doing it again sometime after the New Year. Thank you all for reading and engaging with this newsletter as you have. I know it's only the 3rd one I've created, but I really enjoy the work it takes to put these together each month. It helps hold me accountable to send out an email at least once a month and provides an outlet for me to share more than just updates with you. I know our inboxes become overwhelmed and cluttered with the endless amounts of things we have to sign up for, but I appreciate you being here with me in this way. Here's to another year of The 13th Realm! |

The Long Road Here On my birthday last month, I shared a blog post I wrote that gave a more in-depth look at the journey that brought me to this work. If you want to get to know me a bit better, this is a great way to do it.

Each month I'll share a theme that I've noticed in my own dreams and those whose dreams I've tended. If there's something specific you'd like to see me address in this section of the newsletter, feel free to contact me here. |

FEAR This month's Dream Theme comes from the Community Dream Tending we recently held. There were many similarities and throughlines we saw while sharing, but Fear came up in almost every dream. And not just Fear, but specifically "a new kind of Fear not experienced before." Remember that the focus on that meeting was dreams that were in response to the devastation in Gaza. And in that, we all witnessed images of fear that felt different from what we were used to experiencing before. A different layer of uneasiness. If you've noticed or felt that too, know you're not alone. |

Each month I'll share a message that comes from consulting my Records. This will be a message solely with the readers of this Newsletter in mind. |
Before the message came in, I saw this scene from The Neverending Story (1984). My fellow millennials will remember the emotional toll this movie had on us 😬. "These times are hard. You're experiencing living in the center of a spinning wheel of realities. Realities that move and shift so quickly, it can be so dizzying that you're afraid you're losing your footing. Your grip on what is "true" and not. A necessary, disorienting, time in humanity. As uncomfortable and nauseating these realities may make you feel, we encourage you to be grateful for your ability to see and experience the wheel at all. Be grateful for your introduction to the slew of other worlds, other realities, and by extension, other possibilities. The dizzying effect will slow down eventually. You'll become acclimated to the movement, and that is when magic happens. That is when the doors will open. Holding on to your faith in the possibilities is the ultimate display of strength." |

Each month I'll pull a card from one of my *many* tarot or oracle decks and share the message with you. |
DECK: Angels and Ancestors Oracle Cards by Kyle Gray & Lily Moses find it here Card "Water Guardian: Connect with Your Emotions" "Take time to understand how you really feel. Know that your sensitivity is not a curse, but a gift that allows you to receive and understand messages directly from your soul." Emotions have been high lately. For myself and others I've spoken to, they're the emotions that aren't the easiest to hold. We can have a tendency to try to withhold and even shame the emotions that come up for us. Traditionally in the West, emotions signify weakness, they're associated with the "feminine," which is highly devalued in our society. But there is so much power that derives from our emotions. So much wisdom they can guide us to. Emotions are in constant ebb and flow, just like water, so remember that even the hardest and most uncomfortable emotions we feel won't be with us forever. |

DREAM TENDING! Don't Forget that Dream Tending the service was launched this past summer. It's a work that I feel very proud to be able to share with you, and I hope to be able to share dream time with those of you who are intrigued by the power behind your dreams.

A REMINDER: I will not be spamming anyone with tons of emails, so if you do decide to stay you may see these once or twice a month max. |
