I hope you are well on this cool and windy November day. The trees are shedding their golden leaves and the days are getting shorter and cooler. As we navigate our way through Autumn towards Winter, our health and wellbeing can come under pressure. Our ancestors were much more in tune with the seasonal changes and how they affect our bodies, minds and stamina. They knew as the animals do of the importance of slowing down and retreating during this time of year.

Situated at 1800m high in the fresh and clean mountain air of the Austrian Alps, our retreat will allow you to unwind and connect to nature. Research has shown that essential oils are effective for treating respiratory problems and good at alleviating the symptoms of flu, colds, sore throats, tonsillitis and other infections, and it is not surprising that many remedies contain essential oils. Effective oils for respiratory conditions are tree oils, such as pine and eucalyptus where the oils come from leaves, resins and woods and other anti-microbial oils including lavender, lemon, lemon scented eucalyptus, niaouli, rosemary, tea tree and thyme.
