PAROCHIAL CHURCH COUNCIL NEWS

At its meeting last week, the PCC agreed the following:

  • the Ministry and Mission Unit Charter, thus beginning a new era of collaboration between St Luke’s, St Margaret’s, and St Mary’s. Copies of the draft charter are available at the back of church.
  • to join Citizens UK as a founding member of Ilford Citizens. This will allow us, with other member institutions, to hold local politicians and political structures to account through community organizing. More information here: www.citizensuk.org
  • to a £15,000 restoration of the nave and chapel flooring in January and to purchasing a pendulum regulator to keep correct time on the tower clock.
  • to introduce a contactless payment system for one off card donations.
