Hearing from local voices


The October 14 Voice to Parliament Referendum is fast approaching. Public events and private conversations are being held up and down the Northern Beaches.


For its part, Voices of Mackellar sat down recently with Uncle Neil Evers, chair of the Aboriginal Support Group - Manly Warringah Pittwater to hear from them on the upcoming Referendum.  Watch our video

 Where to vote in the Referendum. 

 Early voting starts in NSW on Tuesday 3 October.

There are three pre polling locations in Mackellar - Avalon, North Narrabeen and Terrey Hills plus two in Warringah electorate - Brookvale and Manly. (Check link below for opening times)


Voting on 14 October Referendum Day Many more polling booths will be open from 8am to 6pm across the electorate on Referendum day.

Check the AEC ‘Voting Tool’ for where to vote on the day, before the day or if you are outside the electorate.

 

Remember, voting  in a Referendum is compulsory!

Multi partisan Yes Rally
