Read about our news and latest updates.

Hey there, first and foremost, we want to thank you for your support and for being part of this journey as we build a new company. The new year is just around the corner and we want to wish you the very best for an amazing 2023. If you are seriously thinking of building a Travel Home in 2023, please reach out to us as there are only a few slots remaining.

The Travel Home truly changed our life and 2022 was another incredible year. Below we provide a glimpse at what we were able to see and do.

As mentioned in last month update, we are currently staying at the Mountain Valley RV Resort, Heber City UT. We are extending our stay until the latter part of February as Robert joined the Deer Valley Resort Ski School as an instructor. He has always had a passion for skiing and teaching people of all ages to love it as much as he does, so it was an opportunity he could not pass up.

After President's week, we will be in Truckee, CA, then off to the San Francisco bay area, back up to Mammoth mountain, before ending March back in Deer Valley to meet up with the kids.

After a bit of an hiatus, we will restart our blog series in the new year. There are several waiting to be released.

2022 - A Very Busy Year

Deciding to move into a Travel Home and living full time on the road has been a game changer. The flexibility we have and opportunity to explore places and meet people have been just incredible.

Having said all that, our travels in 2022 may have been a bit ambitious. All of the above plus we also started our company, Custom Travel Homes. The green states are the ones we visited, staying at a minimum one night. We stayed in state forests, national parks, a number of Harvest Hosts breweries, distilleries, wineries, and farms, as well as in many RV Resorts and Parks. 100 stops would suggest a 3 day average, but we had three month long stays, so most are a lot less.

So we are definitely changing that for 2023 and especially for our planned 2nd half east coast tour. We will attempt to secure monthly stays when we can. Not only will this allow us to explore more of the local area, monthly rates are significantly lower and less stays will require less driving.
