Happy New Year and Chinese New Year everyone this marks the first official newsletter of 2020 from Dr. Freecloud's. Last year was a great year for vinyl business at our shop and for all our projects and in store events as well. This year is off to a great start and January feels a lot like November and December of last year.

So far this year we've kept up the pace since Black Friday of last year with larger more frequent ordering of new vinyl and turntables. The demand for new vinyl has grown tremendously and with that said we are doing our best to keep up with all of you. We strongly recommend you come and see the vast variety of new records currently in stock. Regarding the used vinyl at the shop these past 30 days into the new year, there's been a constant flow of record collections and cardboard boxes and milk crates filled with tons of solid titles. All music genres have been getting filled up here in the bins at the shop. Currently we are still sorting and pricing 2 different record collections that arrived last weekend. Our "Event Calendar" has been busy with newly added event postings for both in store related events and club, underground, rave events that feature Ron D Core spinning at them. Also we just had another successful night of the "Vinyl & Beer Social" our bi-monthly private after hours sipping and listening event we throw after the store closes. The next "Vinyl & Beer Social" will be announced soon so stay tuned!

Brand new dance shipment of Techno, House, DNB, Jungle & Acid vinyl

We got in a large box of brand new vinyl from our European distributor this past weekend. The records we ordered are all imports and mostly 12" releases. We are sorry we didn't post up this shipment here in the blogs sooner. The store was super busy and now we finally have time to tell you all about it. A small number of titles are already sold out, but we just sent in another order and included the sold out items for the next shipment due to arrive by the end of this week.

Music genres include:

House Music, Tech House, Acid House, Drum N Bass, Jungle, Techno, Oldschool Techno, Rave, Minimal, Ghetto Tech and more.

We did another quick order with our over seas dance music distributor, since this current shipment is selling really well. We reordered some of the sold out pieces and added a bunch of brand new ones. The next order has some of the same music genres from this one, but this time we added some new hardcore releases.

Recent new vinyl shipment arrivals

Here's some snapshots of a handful of the latest new vinyl releases. which includes reissues, restocks and brands new titles. Throughout this month of January we've averaged 3 shipments a week since the first week of this year and still continues currently.

We did a lot of special ordering for customers over the recent holidays and we are picking up the pace and doing more special ordering for anyone looking for certain records that we don't have in stock. So when you do come visit our shop again be sure to dig through all the new vinyl and if you don't see what you are looking for, just ask us to look up the availability of the title/s you want and if they are in stock we can order them for you. There's no extra fee or charge for doing a special order, just pay up front for the records and it takes 5 to 6 days to arrive.

The used vinyl keeps rolling in

We've been getting in so much used vinyl in at the shop since the holidays last year. We are piled high with boxes and stacks that we haven't had a chance to price yet. The rate of used record collections are coming in at a high frequency, so all the open boxes on the floor are available for digging through.
