My Sun & Shade Ministries: News & Updates

Hello Friends! Can we take a few minutes to chit-chat together? I hope and pray this email finds you well. I have to say, it has been really neat to get to know some of you through emails and prayer requests. Feel free to send me updates on prayers being answered!

The Lord has been so good to me and my husband, Aaron, this past April and May. Let me share some of what's been happening in our lives!

We were able to attend the Pastor's Spring Convention in Waverly, NY at Zion Fellowship International's headquarters in April 2024 and Aaron had the honor of speaking at it. I had to capture the moment in a picture! He did an excellent job and he had a beautiful word to share with everyone.

Aaron snapped a picture of me and my son, Isaiah, singing a duet at one of the evening services at the same pastor's convention. The song went very well! Isaiah has such a good voice and it was a pleasure to sing alongside him.

We had an excellent time at the 3-day Pastor's Spring Convention and enjoyed fellowship with Christians of like-minded faith. Aaron and I came back refreshed and filled with God's spirit.

Right after convention Aaron had knee surgery, and recovery is going well, but he can't wait to get back to his normal gym routine!

Soon after Aaron's surgery we celebrated Levi's 3rd birthday!! My mom and sister, Heather, drove from Michigan to help us bless the little guy. It was so much fun!

What a joy it is for me to watch my daughter, Avery, care for her two beautiful sons. What a good 'lil momma she has become!! Here they are visiting a park after a long grocery shopping trip. This must've been a reward for good behavior 👍

On Mother's Day, I was blessed by a phone call from my son, dahlias from my husband and daughter, a hug from my son-in-law, text messages from my mom, dad, and sisters, and a hearty lunch at Bob Evans after church service with my mother-in-law and family!

Then, we topped Mother's Day off with a bonfire and hotdogs at Avery & Jesse's home --the first bonfire of the season! What a great day it was!

I don't know about you, but I get "down in the dumps" from time to time and struggle seeing the path ahead. Little things can weigh me down and keep me stuck in a way of thinking that leads no where. Maybe it is the Spring weather, or the change of season --But, I'm ready to move on! What about you? The Lord has beautiful things for us, and we don't want to miss out!
