Updates from the Project

The second Transnational Access Call: StoRIES project has launched its second Transnational Access (TNA) call for research and innovation projects for the year 2022, under the call topic “Solutions for hybrid energy storage systems to enable long-duration stationary storage”. The call is open to different sources of innovation: material research, development and testing of a component, device or device cluster, simulation of systems or system components, etc. and the integration of the innovation in the energy system. The deadline is 31st January 2023. We are looking forward to receiving your research proposals! Read more

The first StoRIES International Researcher Exchange Programme (IREP) call: The first StoRIES IREP call with the topic “Materials Acceleration Platforms (MAPs) and related technologies for improving Energy Storage Applications” was opened. The IREP offers researchers from countries participating in Horizon 2020 a free of charge access to world leading international research infrastructures or devices. The deadline for applications is on 15th January 2023. Read more

Online Courses For Workforce From Academia And Industry: The development of hybrid energy storage solutions, as well as their implementation requires researchers and engineers capable to work with them and understand not only the technical aspects of the new technologies, but also see the interrelationships between the technology, the financial and environmental costs, and the social, regional, and political environment of the technology. Listen to the lecture by Prof. Stefano Passerini, coordinator of StoRIES, on “Energy Storage: Role of Electrochemistry”. Watch the lecture here
