What a thrill to have the Litt Park Theatre buzzing with activity!

A sold out season for the Gone To Seed show, 70th Anniversary celebrations of Te Puke Repertory and the grand opening of the new Box Office.  Along with that, our next production "The Vicar of Dibley" has a full cast.

So it is with a real sense of excitement that we look towards the future.

For me one of the biggest thrills was to read the comments of local author Angie Belcher:

“I had the pleasure of writing the review for this very funny play performed by the Te Puke Repertory Theatre.  They say Te Puke is famous for its kiwifruit but to me, the undisputed star of the community is the theatre group.  If you live locally don't miss it.”

'We are blessed at Te Puke Repertory.

The show is fully cast and rehearsals are underway.

There are peals of laughter from the stage as we work our way through the script.

The classic lines of the much-loved characters in this familiar story are going to bring smiles to the faces of our audience."

Sponsor a Theatre Seat

We hope that while you were at "Gone to Seed" you had a chance to notice the sponsored seat plaques and perhaps recognised quite a few names. This is not only a wonderful way of supporting the theatre but it also creates a relationship between past and present within our theatre family.

If you would like to sponsor a seat for $100 please contact Chris, our Treasurer, at croweijcm@orcon.net.nz for details.

TECHNOLOGY HAS CHANGED THE WAY WE DO THINGS

70 Years ago we did not buy tickets on line, we didn't have eftpos and we could pack as many people in the theatre as the seats and aisles would allow.

But one thing we know, is that things change. So just a few points that will help you to have the best experience possible when visiting our theatre.

Tickets are by General Admission.

This means that you are not allocated a row/seat number. If you have a disability or special request please let us know in order to try to accommodate your requirements

Credit Card bar payments

We try to keep our drinks reasonably priced but a surcharge will now be applied to credit cards.

Seating capacity

Our theatre is registered for an audience capacity of 80 people. We love it when we have full houses and last minute door sales are only possible when we do not exceed this.

Thank you for your understanding.
