Hello No Toy Left Behind Supporter!

Thank you for signing up to follow the project's progress and receive our news!

We'd like to take this opportunity to invite you to our launch event:

Friday 25th February 1-4pm

Pippins Community Centre, Axminster, EX13 5AZ

(Limited parking outside the community centre, further parking near-by at the Flamingo Pool)

________________________________________________

The afternoon will include: red tape cutting and official shop opening by one of our wonderful young supporters, refreshments, a raffle with awesome Playmobile sets to win, a screening of the short animated film The Story of Stuff, an update from East Devon District Council on their plans to work towards zero carbon and the opportunity to ask the climate change officer questions, join in with a community art project using broken toys and there will be a story time for the younger kids with local children's author Emily Hobson-Martin

We hope you can make it!

As always, many thanks to the wonderful team at Pippins Community Centre who are helping us get ready to launch. Especially Ned, Neville, Ian and the volunteer maintenance team who are going to make sure we have enough shelving up for all the toys to look their best on display... despite some uncooperative walls making things tricky for them!

Thank you to our wonderful volunteers who have been coming in on Friday or Saturday afternoons and giving up their time helping us! We've also given out 12 bundles of toys/games/puzzles to volunteers who have taken on checking and cleaning at home. There is SO much work to do to get all the donated toys and games "shelf ready". No Toy Left Behind is a small team so we really can't do it without some help!

Would you like to join in and help us with our mission to make it easy for people to love preloved toys?

We still need volunteers!!

Volunteer sign up form

Please let us know by filling in this form if you could come along to Pippins Community Centre on a Friday or Saturday afternoon (for any amount of time) to help us get on top of the amazing volume of donations we have received.  We will aim to keep the space as safe as possible for our volunteers and visitors so we'll follow government guidelines, keep the window open and ask you to please wear a mask and sanitise your hands on arrival and before leaving.

If cleaning and sorting isn't the job for you then we have a great new job on the job list: could you volunteer to help us name our soft toys? We want to give them a personality to (hopefully) pique our customer's interest and make them more adoptable! Contact Beth for more details on notoyleftbehindproject@gmail.com or drop in on a Friday or Saturday afternoon.

If you can't volunteer you can still help our project be a success! Please spread the word by telling your friends/neighbours/schools about No Toy Left Behind and inviting them to our launch event on Friday 25th!

We've come so far since a scribbled idea in a notebook 12 months ago....
