Have you added staging and styling services to your back pocket?

To sell your homes faster and for more money, they must stand out from the competition and create a strong first impression.  We know that the longer homes stay on the market, the further their price drops (NAR survey). 

 

But, 90% of buyers look at an average of 11 houses online before taking action on one of them.  So, 90% will see your listing and 10 others prior to making a contact.  How do your listings look in comparison to the other 10?  If not so hot, then this is the time to contact us for "the icing on the cake!"

 

Let’s face it, there are lots of houses, even in this current market, that still sit and sit for sale, 30+, 60+ DOM.  Why not use a stager to put some life into the vacant or occupied house and reenergize the listing photos instead of lowering the price? Most likely, the owner is more motivated to sell by then as well, and even for a vacant house, staging is going to cost WAY less than that price reduction!

 

                    Staging will always cost less than that price reduction! 

 

The easiest way to broach the subject of "staging" is to just tell your occupied-home sellers: “I work with someone who specializes in preparing homes for sale.  Give her a call and see what she can do for you.” 

 

You don’t have to be the bad guy— during my positive, results-focused Hands-On Consultation, I’ll tactfully tell them what to do or change and why, and give them the support to help them do it!  I can followup with a staging day and supplementary art and decor if needed to really make buyers LOVE the listing!
