đź’›PET OF THE MONTHđź’›

These two very intelligent potty trained dogs are waiting for their forever home. Bart loves toys! He could play for hours, just put your slippers in the closet. Lisa is a home body, wants to cuddle anywhere she can. She takes a little bit to warm up, but once she does she is so loyal. They can be separated as they have developed their own personalities at their foster home. No allergies and not picky to food.

đź’›GRADUATION DAYđź’›

At the end of March, the most recent class graduated! Here's a few of the cute graduates. The next class will be starting April 23rd. If your dog has had all of their vaccines and you haven't signed up yet, contact Sonya for more information on the classes.Text - 702-860-0234

đź’›TRAINER TIP OF THE MONTHđź’›

Teaching the dog “down” is one of the most difficult commands for a dog because it puts them in a submissive position, which they do not like to be in. Small dogs have even a more difficult time becase they are small and already down close to the ground.  To add to the difficulty, people use the command “DOWN” for “OFF” and it is confusing.  â€śDown” should be only used for lay down and off for jumping. Do not use them interchangeable.  They are two separate commands. “Down” is a positive command and “off” is a negative command that should be followed up with a positive command, such as “down,” so the dog is shown something he/she should do instead of jumping up (furniture, counters, doors, or people).

đź’›TIP OF THE MONTHđź’›

A titer is a simple blood test that provides information about your pet’s current immunity to the diseases they’ve been immunized against in the past. Titer testing instead of automatic boosters (except when required by law) can help lower your pet’s chemical (antigen) load by providing only what is needed to maintain an alert immune system.
