I've been busy collecting video and photos of all the major new home communities that are under construction or opening soon in the Sarasota area, and posting all this information in one place on my website, sarasotadavid.com. Sarasota new homes are a bit harder to find because most are not in a master planned community. My goal is to provide you a one-stop service to guide you through the new home buying process. Remember, new homes cost the same when you're working with your own Realtor. |

Worthington is coming soon. It's a Sarasota new home community east of I-75, at the intersection of Palmer Blvd. and Iona Road. There are 151 planned upscale homes, with three architectural styles. There probably won't be a CDD fee here, and I expect the prices will compete with the adjacent new home community of Artistry, meaning prices starting in the low to mid $400,000's. |

Ashton Meadows in Sarasota |

Ashton Meadows will have 44 single family homes. Most are two story, and you should know that these homes are all concrete block. Many new construction homes, even those over $1 million, can be built with wood frame on the 2nd floor. Prices in Ashton Meadows start in the low $300,000's, and have 3 to 5 bedroom floor plans. Another huge benefit to living in Ashton Meadows is that it's located in an A-rated school district, with a central location to beaches and downtown Sarasota. |

Garden Village is built by DR Horton, the same builder as Ashton Meadows. The same all concrete block construction is available here as well. It's well suited for younger families looking for their first home, with room enough to grow. There's no CDD fee, with low HOA fees. Garden Village is located on Cattlemen Blvd, just south of Fruitville Road. Easy access to UTC mall and Nathan Benderson Park, and only 6 miles to downtown Sarasota. |

Hidden Creek is another large new home community set to open for sales soon in Sarasota. Located east of I-75 off Fruitville Road, Hidden Creek will have a mix of architectural styles, with single family homes and paired villas. The villas will start in the low $200,000's, and single family homes in the mid $300's. There is no CDD fee. HOA fees are very low. Visit my website for more information. |

Hampton Lakes is truly something different. It's located east of I-75 on Fruitville Road, past Hidden Creek. This upscale home community offers 3 to 12 acre home sites. You can build a large, 3 car garage home with an option for an additional outbuilding for your boat, car collection, or just additional entertaining space. Prices start in the low $500,000's, and there no CDD fee. Six different floor plans are available. |

Rivo Lakes is another smaller enclave of upscale single family homes, with 107 home sites. Floor plans offer 3 to 5 bedroom homes up to 3900 square feet of living space. The community will be gated, and with no community club house or pool to maintain, HOA fees are low at $130 per month. Rivo Lakes is located within walking distance of popular Twin Lakes Park. |
