I attended two book club gatherings. This is what I have been looking most forward to. Probably, my role as an English teacher plays into this a bit; I love talking books and sharing the stories that go along with writing, what inspired it and so on. It’s also always fascinating to hear others’ reactions that I hadn’t anticipated. I’m so grateful that people are connecting to this story. I brought a little book swag for everyone and, for one lucky winner, I put together a little goody bag of additional themed gifts and a copy of my friend Hope Gibb’s book Where the Grass Grows Blue.
