ACES AND PLACES
• A huge congratulations to our League Legend John Di Noto and his lovely wife Anthea on their recent nuptials! They had a relaxing week enjoying the sunshine and Bintangs in Asia.
• The Saturday Social Crew have been enjoying the best of the weather recently! "What Winter?" was heard echoing around South Perth last week as the crowds played on without Mike McLean who's at home nursing a pulled hammy. Get well soon!
• Aidan Chan, Keefen Wilson and Mayla Manoj have just been selected for the Bruce Cup to represent WA School Sport. Well done, guys!
• Speaking of Aidan Chan, he is currently overseas where he won a Tennis Europe Doubles Title for 12&U against some of the top players for his age group on the continent as part of Team Australia’s 12’s Team!
• A massive congratulations to Nick & Freddie Roberts' mother Pearl, who celebrated her 100th birthday on July 15. 85 guests and 8 dogs attended Pearl’s birthday party and Pearl was spoiled rotten with 19 bottles of champagne, scotch and gin and a letter from the King!
• Gordon Dunlop, International Chess Whizz is at it again. He has just taken out the 2023 Non-European Online Tournament!
