Hello Seeds of Life donors and friends:
Seeds of Life is a growing project at our farm at Alberton, Ontario. Our purpose is to raise funds for the Canadian Foodgrains Bank (CFGB) in support of hunger relief and agricultural training programs overseas.
In early November we harvested 316 tonnes of corn from 72 acres. This crop was sold to a local buyer and after expenses, a total of $77,114 was sent to CFGB. With matching funds up to 4 to 1 from the Government of Canada, we will contribute up to $308,000 to support CFGB hunger relief programs.
Our goal in supporting CFGB is A WORLD WITHOUT HUNGER. Thank you to all of you who have supported us for your generous donations. Together we can make a difference in the lives of hungry people overseas.
