It has been over two years since Covid-19 was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization. Unfortunately, a number of senior care homes in Canada are once again currently experiencing covid outbreaks.

Demand for our cards and letters is growing. We currently have over 60 facilities who are waiting to receive cards from us, and we urgently need funds to meet the demand. A $10 gift brings hope and a smile to 10 seniors and reduces their feelings of loneliness and isolation. 

Any support is welcome and makes you a hero. If you are able to, we would greatly appreciate a donation to help us keep sending cards to seniors in need across the country. Any amount helps!

It's Officially Summer!

Can you believe that it is already almost August? Summer is in full swing and we thought it was the perfect opportunity to showcase some of the summer-themed cards that we have received!

The Team Continues to Grow!

Did you know that Sending Sunshine has 43 volunteers who help us with tasks such as social media, card sorting, merchandise design, and more? Well, this month we added two new members to the Sending Sunshine volunteer team! Thanosan is joining us as a Website Editor and will be helping us update and improve the website to make it easier for you to navigate through. Anna has joined as our Chapter Coordinator and will be helping to expand and maintain our Chapter Program. Welcome to the team Anna and Thanosan!
