**Special Tour** LaFarge, Furness, and Art Glass at First Unitarian

Study and explore renowned stain glass artist John LaFarge's 'Isaiah', Frank Furness' designed Sanctuary of First Unitarian Church, and learn about other glass artists whose work is found at the church. Led by architectural conservator and historian Nic Tenaglia, visitors will learn about the conservation of the window, and also about John LaFarge & Frank Furness as we stand beneath the gaze of Isaiah seated upon his throne. We will also view beautiful stained glass windows from a diverse group of notable artists including Louis Comfort Tiffany, Henry Holiday, Charles Connick, Nicola D'Ascenzo, among others.

Nic Tenaglia is an architectural conservator and historian currently working as the site manager of the Frank Furness designed First Unitarian Church of Philadelphia. They have worked on numerous historic properties around Philadelphia and the region, and are an expert on the work of Frank Furness. Their online blog, Furnesque, has been cited in numerous published and online works, and Nic is a go-to resource for investigation of Furness' work across the region.
