Happy Holidays from my family to yours!
 
It's that magical end-of-year time when we scramble around and just want more white space! Or maybe that’s just me? In any case, whatever you’re doing, wherever you’re going for the holidays this year, I wish you safe and peaceful times with the people you love most.
 
Looking forward to 2022 and so grateful for your support in my business, which ultimately supports my little family.

The growing debate about screentime for our kids needs to seriously be applied to us adults. In all honesty, a digital detox just might be my answer to making more time for my family in the new year. In my article for this month's Santa Barbara Independent, I outline 5 things we can do to take our own digital detox. Sounds pretty magical to me!

What I'm Reading/Watching
Be Like an Octopus
 
Apparently, these majestic creatures can actually teach us a thing or two about living in community and sacrificing for the greater good. I couldn't think of a better lesson for these times. To get inspired, I recommend reading this short article from the Aquarium of the Pacific. In addition, watch the Netfix documentary The Octopus Teacher—truly amazing! I hope to live more and more like an octopus.
