From me to you

Join the movement to end
Breast Cancer!

Every October, I like thousands of other people, unite to walk and honor the women whose lives were affected by breast cancer, their family, friends and caregivers, all acknowledged and celebrated. For those women who need resources, I highlight below a few organizations who provide support and share the 7 Steps from my book Just Diagnosed Breast Cancer What to expect. What to know. What to do next.  As I always say, while we acknowledge October as breast cancer awareness month, breast cancer doesn’t just happen in October! Thank you for helping raise awareness year-round and for taking the time to read and share this newsletter to help inspire others.

Own Your Diagnosis

We have a choice: we can take a positive attitude and face our adversity with fearlessness, head-on. Here are the seven steps I took to own and take charge of my diagnosis. I hope that these will help you, or your friends, family members, or colleagues who have been just diagnosed.

I have two free resources up on my website that’ll help you to navigate the whirlwind of appointments and things to remember. Visit my website to download these forms that you can take with you to the doctors and help keep track of what you need to know.
