Phew... What a time to be alive. I know that many of you are struggling. So I wanted to share some wisdom from recent coaching sessions and some interesting information. These words are a great place to start...
Wisdom Received #1...
Remember that your time here is important. Right now, at this particular point in time. You are here for a purpose. You chose to be here because this time is important. With your every step, raise your vibration higher and higher. (Yes this was the message that the person received!).
Please remember that you are unique and special. You have gifts to offer the world. You are precious. Even though that cheerful and hopeful part of you may feel like it's gone, it's still there! The sun can be hidden by the clouds but the sun is always there in all of it's radiance. We all get affected by our situations in life, but we must continue to love and appreciate ourselves.
Wisdom Received #2...
The person was in grief around the situation in Afghanistan. Their sense of calm was impacted because of their sudden rift with their faith. (I work on physical, mental, emotional and spiritual concerns with clients). The strength value that came up was humility. The person realized that they had to stop questioning their faith in relation to the events that had unfolded and have more humility. Doing so brought immense calm.
Humility can be such an amazing lens with which to see the world. Ask yourself right now, "how can having more humility change my experience of living life right now?"
If we live in Australia for example, we might think that we are fortunate to have hospital systems if we need them, with people in other countries not having access to medical care that we do. We also have food to eat and clean water to drink which isn't the case in other areas of the world. We have access to face masks to wear. Others are not so fortunate. Looking through the lens of humility will often lead to the glorious feeling of gratitude. And this is such a beautiful way to experience the world! More information is available in my free book [read time 10 mins].
A recent conversation that I had is another great example. It was pointed out that we are now experiencing similarities with how animals are treated. We keep billions of animals in lockdown for their whole lives. They are unable to visit their family members. We inject many to try to prevent them from getting sick (though many get sick and we in turn get sick ourselves). In considering the similarities we are now facing, it really does evoke a feeling of humility.
