The Beautification Committee is looking for help installing new signs in Fletcher Park and the Gateway Garden (the corner of 10th and Brookside). Two volunteers are needed each Sunday: March 3, 10, 17, 24 & 31. Volunteer online. The Circle City Donut Dash is 9am, Saturday, March 16. The annual 5K starts and finishes at Fowling Warehouse, 1125 E Brookside Avenue. Registration starts at $45 ($50 weekend of). All funds go to Teachers’ Treasures and their help to the community throughout the year. Register online. The next Windsor Park Neighborhood Association meeting will be at 6:30pm, Monday, April 29, upstairs at the Spades Park Library. Bring your questions, concerns, and ideas! |

The Social & Events Committee is hosting our annual spring social & WPNA Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 6 in Fletcher Park. It will take place the Saturday after Easter this year due to the early date of Easter and also due to that week being Spring Break for most schools in the area. Expect easter eggs for the kids, plus popcorn, and other treats from neighborhood businesses. RSVP online. The second annual Ramp Fest will be April 21. Featuring over a dozen local chefs preparing ramp-inspired dishes, all proceeds go to the Greg Hardesty Scholarship Fund and the ACLU. Follow on Instagram for ticket announcements. A spring cleanup is scheduled for 9am – 1pm, Saturday, May 11, starting at 12th and Tecumseh. Donuts and cleanup supplies will be provided. RSVP online. |

Last Saturday, Jess Martin, a Cottage Home neighbor, organized and led a cleanup of 10th Street. In the Windsor Park Facebook Group, Jess posted, “This was a huge success with the work getting done super fast due to so many people! We cleared TWO pick up trucks full of trash!” |

Road work ahead—the drainage underneath Brookside Parkway is being upgraded. In the long run, this should mean smaller puddles around the library after big rainstorms. In the short run, this means lots of heavy machinery tearing up the street around Spades Park. Read more. |
