Algorand Wallet Now Open Source

The goal behind Algorand Wallet is to give the Algorand community a secure, trusted, convenient, and powerful way to interact with Algorand ecosystem products and the Algorand Blockchain. As part of that mission, we believe that making our code open source is critical to the success of the project. The Algorand Blockchain itself is open sourced, and we wanted to take that same step in creating a completely transparent and community focused product.

Today, we’re excited to announce that the official Algorand Wallet codebase has been open sourced and is now publicly available. Developers can access the Algorand-Wallet repository via our main github organization or by going directly to the following link: https://github.com/algorand/algorand-wallet. All of the information you need for contributing, deploying, and licensing the code will be in the README of that repository.

This has been heavily requested by the community, and we hope that you’re excited as we are for this important milestone in the ongoing development of the Algorand Wallet.
