Through a generous grant from Insperity, we started a special Alpha Xi Delta Scholarship to be awarded at the HAPA/HAPF Scholarship Luncheon in 2021--the year our own Ivonne Delgado will serve as HAPA President. The scholarship will be presented by National President Micaela Isler.

Since its inception in 1987, the HAPF Scholarship Fund has awarded 572 scholarships, totaling $983,600.00, to women enrolled in accredited colleges and universities across the country. $61,300 was awarded to 23 collegians in May of 2019. Originally designed for residents of Harris County, in 2021 the scholarship will be opened for residents of the Greater Houston area. Often this financial aid makes the difference for many young women, enabling them to continue their college education.
