Dear friends and supporters, In 2017, REACH Shirati raised the amazing sum of $131,506 from donors like you. In 2018 our goal is $150,000!! We have raised only $73,903 to date and with only two months left to close the gap of $76,097 we really need your help. Please reach deep in your pockets to help us attain these funds in order to maintain our top notch programs! In 2018, our school has grew significantly. We now provided a quality education in both Swahili and English to over 600 youngsters for about $90,000 annual operating costs. All the funds we raise support our mission of creating life-changing opportunities through education, expanding health care for students and families, and community development projects. No matter how you donate, your contributions go towards providing life-changing opportunities for an entire community, see this list for how far your help goes: - $200 = a student’s annual school fees
- $300 = monthly cost of school’s daily porridge lunch for 600 students
- $550 = monthly cost of a nutritious daily lunch for patients at the maternity, pediatric, and leprosy wards of Shirati Hospital
- $1,000 = monthly cost of school maintenance, government inspections and examination fees.
- $3,000 = average annual salary with benefits for a Tina’s teacher
- $4,000 = monthly salaries and benefits for all our teachers and staff

Donate Your Car! Donating your car, truck, van, SUV, boat, motorcycle, ATV, RV, trailer or airplane can help raise a lot of money for REACH! In 2017, two of our supporters donated their old vehicles to us, resulting in over $1500 for our projects! We have partnered with CARS, so through their website you can simply choose REACH Shirati as the charitable organization of your choice. They take care of the pick up and processing, you get a tax deduction, and WE receive the donation in dollars! Your old vehicles will help young students REACH new horizons through education.
