We are a family here at Pellegrino Healing Center, and when one of us is going through something, either personally or within their own families, we all feel it. Tammy's beautiful daughter-in-law, Erica, was diagnosed with stage 3 Hodgkins lymphoma. This news came as a shock, as Erica is so young and vibrant at the age of 29. Erica has shown incredible strength and perseverance while fighting this unfortunate disease, which has now been a year long battle. A lifelong resident of Pine Plains, Erica is a mother of two beautiful girls, ages one & five. Erica has chosen a holistic approach for her treatment that includes western medicine, and is looking into additional options with her team of doctors. The medical bills are daunting and we feel it is to the family's benefit to reach out to this incredible community on their behalf for help during this time. There are a couple of ways that you can help support Tammy's family: Instructions for donating directly: When donating through this website, navigate to "Use this donation for", choose the drop down, 'In honor of___'. While myofascial release was the primary therapy Chelsea used to address the aggressive scar bands and adhesions that cover the majority of my body--results of extensive and deep burns--she was able to draw from her schooling in multiple methods to tailor my session to meet my specific needs.Guided by her deep intuition and empathy, Chelsea effectively softened the painful scarring and adhesions and literally released me from their very tight movement restrictions. She also taught me things I hadn't known about my body and equipped me with techniques to use on my own that can bring relief. I left my first session with significantly less pain and with greater mobility and flexibility than what I walked in with. Sleep was easier last night and my body is still feeling the benefits today.
