Today is my first day back in the office after my vacation and this morning I woke up bright and early ready to go! April was a condensed month for me, because I was on vacation for half of it, but that just made the first two weeks that much busier.
Now I'm settling back in to my office routine and looking forward to what May has in store. I'm also looking forward to doing some planning work for my business, once the initial admin of the beginning of the month is out of the way. To that end, here is April's assortment of things I found interesting and useful to get you started in May.

I love traveling. I know a lot of people say that and it's not that original, but for me staying in one place for too long is really hard. Since I left home at 18, I've lived in four countries and since college, I've moved house seven times. I have now lived in the US for 7+ years and in my current home since 2019. We're still doing up this house so we can't go anywhere yet, so traveling at every opportunity stops me from feeling too claustrophobic. During the pandemic, we bought a camping trailer and road-tripped everywhere as our way to soothe the traveling itch.
This photo is of a river where we swam last week in the El Yunque rainforest in Puerto Rico. If you're a US citizen, you can go there on your driving license and I totally recommend it.
