Classes begin Tuesday, September 6th!

We are so excited to welcome you to our 11th Season at Gravity Dance Co! Fall classes begin September 6th. Registration is available via our website.

Gravity is a National award-winning, family oriented and inclusive dance studio in the Bixby Knolls District of Long Beach, Ca, owned by dancer, choreographer and 2x Cancer Survivor Shiquita "Ms. Q" Sargent.

Currently, we offer over 30 classes weekly and house 4 competition teams. Gravity is currently featured on ABC's 'Abbott Elementary' as the official Abbott step team and on Lifetime's hit show, 'Dance Moms'. We compete, perform and travel throughout our community and surrounding areas. Most recently, we hosted our annual summer dance concert, "California Love: Homecoming", our studio's 10 year anniversary show and celebration. This December, we have our annual Company Christmas Party; a Dinner and Dance Show.

We produce 2 bi-annual productions that we host yearly- amongst the rest of our community engagements, events and more!

We are so excited to add your artist to our dance family for the Fall Season. From our Tiny dancers to our seasoned performers, Gravity offers something for everyone. The lessons learned while training with us stem well beyond the walls of the studio.

Welcome to Long Beach's most LOVED dance studio!

STUDIO & CLASS INFORMATION

Classes are held at our studio, located at 3391 Long Beach Blvd. We ask that each dancer have hand sanitizer in their dance bag, crumb-free healthy snacks as well as a spill proof water bottle. Plastic/disposable water bottles are not permitted at any time in the studio. 

You must enroll your dancer(s) in a minimum of 4 classes/wk to join Gravity; one class must be ballet. Tuition starts at $215/month with a new student registration fee of $35 and a Studio Leotard fee of $30.

All dancers need to have appropriate dance shoes and class attire, outlined on our website under "Dress Code".

The Gravity Staff looks forward to seeing you as we use dance as a way to teach life skills and development. Art brings communities together, encourages growth and stimulation, and just feels good.
