The week ahead Please note: If you have missed any classes this summer session, please remember that you can drop-in for ANY of these classes as your MAKE-UP class! ALSO, if you would like to TRY a class, you are welcome to purchase a DROP-IN pass to attend any of the classes below. Meet Jenn! LEAP has been lucky to have had Jenn on the team leading classes for almost a year now. A mom of two boys and former teacher with a background in Special Education, she currently leads the mixed-age classes at Beckley Creek Park. Fall Sneak Peek: Get ready for all-weather, all-outdoor, F U N ! Southern Indiana LEAP Mixed-age Classes at Mount St. Francis will begin Sept. 9 Louisville is gearing up for a NEW Babies & Tots class (for ages 0-3) that will be sensory-based (starts after Labor Day) Our Drop-off class (for ages 3-6) will be at Blackacre again this Fall (starts after Labor Day) Nature Playgroup* and Field Trip Fridays are being planned for this Fall, starting Sept. 1, as well as pop-up playgroups on weekends!! *Nature Playgroup will replace our usual caregiver & child "classes" this Fall in Louisville. These playgroups will meet regularly, at the same time and place each week, and will include a loose structure. Studies show that child-led play in nature help children develop physically, socially/emotionally, and cognitively. We are getting back to the roots of forest play and nature-based learning . . . and we can't wait! Class & Membership enrollment and pricing will be available on the website soon-- we will post on social media when it goes live!
In addition . . . we are currently seeking to restructure to a nonprofit in order to reach more families and further fulfil our mission.
