Water's Eye will be coming out in July. This is the first book in a new series, Elements Openings, but carrying on the storyline from The Doors of Despair. For those not familiar with the Doors of Despair, or only starting out in it, much of the story is explained along the way, enough so that you can jump right in. I hope you enjoy it. With Maya and her friends stuck on Earth, they must adjust to their new lives there. For Maya, that includes adjusting to the events of her past, and the tragedies that she had to face. What she had to go through. Sometimes, such experiences create demons all their own. But when a new girl moves into town, she has an unusual effect on Maya, one that even she can't quite understand just yet. |

The second book in Elements Openings, Fire's Tongue, is almost finished. The first draft is scheduled to be completed in mid-July. Right now, I'm more focused on building the relationship between Megana and Claire, exploring how they discover each other and try to build something, when surrounded by people that would not only not understand, but might just kill them if they found out. I'm excited to see what people think of this latest book, set to come out next year. |

For those interested, the second draft of Cary Simms: The Fairy Mushroom Forest is available on my Royal Road page, in its entirety. It can be found here. As I've said before, this is my firt foray into middle grade books, so I'd appreciate some feedback on it. So far, the feedback I've gotten is good. Once Fire's Tongue is completed, though, I'll be working on another edit for this book, and the second draft will be coming down. So, if you're interested in reading it, check it out while you still can. |

It's getting closer to August, which means that IABX, our second event of the year, is just around the corner. I haven't heard much about how things are lining up for it just yet, but watch my socials for updates coming closer. It's on August 6th, so I might be holding off my August newsletter until afterwards, so that I can send it out to all the new subscribers. |
